NBSC NSTP hosts basic ROTC Closing Ceremony
Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – On May 23, 2023, the Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) National Service Training Program (NSTP) hosted the closing ceremony of the Basic Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) unit for the academic year 2022-2023. The event marked the culmination of a year-long journey focused on the leadership development of cadets and instilling in them the values of discipline and service.
The ROTC training staff from the 1003rd Community Defense Center, 10th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army (1003CDC, 10RCDG, RESCOM, PA) graced the ceremony with their presence, adding great significance and honor to the occasion.
Keynote speaker, LTC Manolito D. Santos (MI) PA, the ROTC Commandant of NBSC, and Director of the 1003CDC, 10RCDG, RESCOM, PA, delivered an inspiring message during the ceremony. LTC Santos highlighted the importance of discipline, integrity, and service to the nation. He also commended the cadets, now reservists, for their commitment and hard work throughout the training program, encouraging them to carry forward the values they have learned as they embark on their future endeavors.
NBSC extends its heartfelt appreciation to all the cadets, training staff from the 1003CDC, 10RCDG, RESCOM, PA, and the NSTP Office headed by Mr. John Mark L. Boyonas, MAEng, who contributed to the success of the ROTC program. The college remains committed to providing opportunities for students to develop their leadership potential and serve their country with honor and dedication.
